Shri Sanjay Kumar is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. He joined GAIL in the year 1988 and over the next three and a half decades has worked in various roles across domains including Gas Marketing, CGD Business,LNG Sourcing/Trading/Shipping, Business Development, Gas Transmission, Projects Management & Gas Pipeline Operation & Maintenance. This cross functional and multifarious experience has enabled him to gain deep insight on all aspects of the gas and LNG value chain.

Shri Sanjay Kumar played an important role in developing GAIL’s overseas LNG trading subsidiary GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. into a standalone entity that is now well established in the global LNG business.

Shri Sanjay Kumar was GAIL’s nominee Director on the Boards of GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., GAIL Global (USA) LNG LLC, GAIL Global (USA) INC and Chairman of Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd (MNGL). He was Managing Director of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the largest CNG distribution Company of India before assuming the Charge of Director (Marketing), GAIL.

Smt Sumita Bagchi , IAS is presently working as Special Commissioner, Industry, Commerce & Enterprises Deptt, Govt of West Bengal. She has done her Post Graduation from Calcutta University in Plant Physiology. In her long career in different capacities in various departments under Govt of West Bengal she has served in general administration in the districts of Birbhum, Hooghly, Purba Medinipur, Nadia, Uttar Dinajpur & Purba Bardhaman. She has also rendered her service in State Institute of Panchayat & Rural Development, Kalyani, P&AR Department, UDMA Department, as CEO, WBKVIB under MSME&T Department etc.

A versatile energy expert and result-driven business leader with B.Tech from IIT-BHU, MBA in HR and Marketing, bringing over 34 years of comprehensive experience in the oil & gas value chain and future energy sectors. Expertise spans over strategic planning, business development, project management, and implementation of large-scale pipeline projects, petrochemical, gas processing units & LNG terminal break water project.

Demonstrated strong leadership in stakeholder management, NGG pipeline project execution & operations, petrochemical operations & maintenance, sustainability and risk management at GAIL. Executing around 3,200 km of pipeline projects across the length & breadth of the country as head of the project execution team. Spearheaded the corporate strategy planning and advocacy function, securing Final Investment Decisions (FIDs) for key projects that positioned GAIL for sustained growth over the next decade.

Currently serving as a board member of Bengal Gas Company Ltd. Kolkata & Konkan LNG Ltd. Dabhol providing strategic guidance on governance, policy, and growth. Previously held board positions at Bhagyanagar Gas Ltd. Hyderabad and Konkan LNG Ltd. Dabhol. Led the corporate strategy review exercise to integrate energy transition opportunities with GAIL’s net-zero aspirations, driving the adoption of green hydrogen, compressed biogas, and renewable energy.

Shri Shaligram Mowar, an Instrumentation Engineering Graduate from IIT, Kharagpur and PGDBA in Operations & Finance Management, is having rich and diverse experience accumulating nearly 34 years with GAIL (India) Limited in the Natural Gas Sector encompassing Erection, Commissioning & Operations of LPG/GPU Projects, O&M of NG Pipeline, LNG Terminal & Re-Gasification and Marketing functions.

He has in-depth experience of Operation & Maintenance in LPG/GPU plant, LNG Terminal, Compressor Station, Natural Gas P/L Network , HRSG etc. having major equipment like Compressors, Gas Turbines, Pumps, DCS/PLC, Flow-Metering Systems etc. He is an astute professional in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Sector. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of M/s Konkan LNG Limited, he was involved in demerger of M/s Konkan LNG Limited from M/s RGPPL, and under his tenure he had successfully led the company to performance turn around & financial stability.

At present, he is leading GAIL-Southern Region spread across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Kerala as Executive Director O&M and Zonal In-charge & looking after O&M, Marketing & Project activities in the region.

Shri S. Sampath, a Chartered Accountant & having a Masters in Commerce, He has a vast experience of over 3 decade in Finance and Accounts in Oil & Natural Gas. He is an astute professional with qualitative expertise in Finance & Accounts, IndAS, and Taxation including International Taxation, Budgeting, Management Accounting, Treasury, Contract Management, & Policy Framework. He is instrumental in Digitization of various financial Processes like Robotic Process Automation, Automation of Various Employees claims, etc. in Gail (India) Limited. He is having experience in faculty in the various programmes/workshops organised by ICAI.

Mr. S. Sampath is also a founder Member in Society of Petroleum Accountant to resolve the issues relating to Oil & Gas Sectors.

Asim Prasad heads the Corporate Strategy, Planning, Advocacy, and Corporate Affairs departments as Executive Director (Corporate Strategy, Planning, Advocacy, and Corporate Affairs) at GAIL (India) Limited Corporate Office, New Delhi. His current assignment relates to Corporate Strategy, MoU Planning & Budgeting, and Corporate Affairs. Addationally he leads the team to implement use cases involving IR4 initiatives. During his 31+ years of professional career at GAIL, held various positions at different installations across diverse business verticals, including Operations and Maintenance, Project Execution, Natural GasTransmission, and Gas Marketing. He has been involved in the execution of several prestigious projects on Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution and LPG Transmission Pipelines. Also, as Zonal Chief General Manager & OIC at GAIL Kolkata Zonal Office, he established the natural gas market in eastern states, promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Jharkhand and West Bengal. One of his initiatives involved conceptualizing and successfully implementing a pilot project to run two 100-ton BEML BH100 dumper trucks in dual fuel LNG mode.
Asim Prasad holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management, a Master's in Business Administration and Doctorate in Management.
